I have made a Birthday Invitation tutorial, where I combine traditional scrapbooking and digital scrapbooking. For this project I have used:

• One set of the Happy Birthday Kitten Clipart
• One picture editing program (such as Paint Shop Pro, Adobe PhotoShop or similar)
• A cute photograph (optional)
• An A4 coloured paper

In this tutorial I have used PhotoShop, since this is the program I do most of my own scrapbooking with. If you don't have it, don't worry - there are several other programs that will do the job just as fine.

Step 2

Since I want some space between the finished layout to glue on top of the birthday invitation paper, I choose “Width” 13 cm, “Height” 19 cm, “Resolution” 72, to keep the document small and the computer running smoothly.

Step 3

I will start off by choosing a background. I open the yellow pattern background from Happy Birthday Kitten.
I then click “Edit” and “Define Pattern”.
