Here I'll show you how you can make your own paper flower embellishments,
for scrapbooking, card making or other craft related projects. It's quite easy and you don't need any expensive scrapbooking punches, while the result is just lovely! Good luck!

Step 6

Here we go! All the five leaves are in place, it is time for the flower petals and to add some colours!

Glue the flower petals closer to the middle in comparison to the leaves, and make sure they form a nice pentagon as well.

Step 8

Time to decorate! I made a swirl in the middle and enhanced the edges on the flower petals as well as making a pattern similar to the ones on real flowers, which are meant to attract bees. I also added some fibre decoration on the leaves. For best result, choose a colour either slightly darker than the paper colour, such as orange on the yellow central piece, or lighter, for example the lighter green on each leaf.

Step 10

And here we go! Make as many as you like (or until you are out of glue) and use them for scrapbooking layouts (just make sure you have acid free glue, paper and ink if you want to preserve your scrapbooking album), card making or other craft and art projects! Good luck!
