2010/05/20: I've updated with my favourite Love
and Wedding Quotes and Sayings,
which may be used for scrapbooking text and cardmaking.
Also, here's the recipe which I mentioned a couple of days ago,
for my scones that I made the other day.
My scones turned out quite nice, but I kneaded the dough a little
bit to short,
so they didn't became as smooth as they should be.
But they where yum nonetheless!
~ Delicious English Scones ~
Makes 8-12 scones
Ingredients:
100 g butter
8 dl of flour
4 tablespoons of baking powder
a pinch of salt
25 g of sugar
4 dl of milk
Instructions:
Firstly heat the oven to 220°C. Next mix together the salt,
flour and butter.
Stir in the sugar and then the milk until you get soft dough.
Turn the dough onto a floured work area and knead lightly, but don’t
knead to long,
because then the scones will end up chewy.
Pat into round pieces, approximately 2 cm thick/ each.
Place them on a lightly greased baking sheet.
Brush the tops of the scones with a little milk (optional).
Bake for 12-15 minutes until well risen and golden.
Time to cook: 10 to 30 minutes
Enjoy your scones with butter, marmalade, whipped cream, and a big
pot of tea!
Good luck!
2010/05/19: A new digital scrapbooking paper are here: From the
Elegant Collection:
Cashmere Digital Paper Backgrounds, available as a
free download or in
high quality!
I'm started to think I'm getting quite addicted to creating these
kinds of backgrounds,
everything around me has the potential to become a digital paper.
But it's just so fun and I'm so ridicolous happy that people actually
use my scrapbooking supplies
to create their scrapbooking or art projects! And I'm also reciving
so many wonderful e-mails from all around the world,
it's quite impossible to stop updating. Thank you all! Bless you!
2010/05/17: ...And it's online at MyShop: Digital
Velvet Paper Backgrounds, absolute fantastic for romantic, elegant
or wedding layouts, as well as for autumn (which still is far, far
away!) themes! And now - time to drop off my youngest darling at
the child care centre and then off to work!
Oh! And I almost forgot! Yesterday I earned two British points for
making scones
(they turn out kind of strange, but yummy...) I'll update with the
recipe later. Hugs for now!
2010/05/16: Ooh, I'm currently working on a new scrapbooking digital
paper for the elegant collection: Velvet paper in brown, red and
yellowish hues, with luck some luck (and depending on when my two
little angels decides to go to bed!) it will be ready online tomorrow.
Stay tune!
... Later the same evening...
I managed to finish the Velvet Digital Scrapbooking Paper for the
free section! I decided to go for warm and pale colours of a more
autumn theme (which include warm burgundy and earth colours, my
favourites!) and I'm quite happy with the result, I hope you like
them too! (The original photos for this paper set are actually my
dining chairs.)
2010/05/05: I'm not going to update the blog for a week or so due
to work (so, so sorry, but I have to much to do at the moment),
but before I go offline, I have a new update:
Free and printable Orange
Marmalade Labels for home made marmalade or fruit spreads.
I hope they may inspire you to make your own marmalade and hope
to see you soon again! Cheers for now!
2010/05/03: New update: Digital scrapbooking paper kit: Crêpe
paper, which is a part of the Basic collection, which I have
been working on for some time now. Great for birthday and party
scrapbooking themes. This weekend I went to London to meet up with
an old childhood friend of mine and we spent the day walking in
Hyde Park, trying to feed the already fed squirrels. Lovely day
and it made me realize how important friends really are and how
lucky I am who have both friends and a family that I love! I wish
everyone had that!
2010/04/30: Oh, I have been such a busy bee trying to get everything
working at the My Shop section!
Just to fix the new web pages and change the headings on the site
has been... quite daunting to be honest.
But luckily I have a wonderful partner, who can help me when my
web-building skills are reaching its limits.
I have also updated and change the Vintage
Paper Backgrounds at the Free Stuff section,
since you know can choose to download them in 72 dpi and link to
me or buy the scrapbooking
kit in 300 dpi at My Shop.
But, I was always a little bit unhappy about that scrapbooking set,
so now I have added some old time antique clock illustrations (which
I did for another project), and
I'm really, really happy about the result! Cheers for now!
